The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, SRM IST Ramapuram, successfully organized a guest lecture titled “Mic Mastery” on 25 August 2025. The session was conducted by Fever FM RJ Subbu, who shared his professional experiences in the field of radio broadcasting. Students gained practical insights into voice modulation, storytelling techniques, and effective communication. The speaker emphasized the importance of spontaneity and confidence while handling live broadcasts. Through interactive activities and demonstrations, participants learned techniques to improve their on-air presence. The lecture also addressed ways to overcome stage fear and communicate with greater clarity and confidence. Students were encouraged to develop their creative expression and presentation skills.
