• SYNOPSIS OF THE EVENT

The Department of Commerce (PA, ISM & IAF), Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram , organized a organized a Placement & Development Programme on 'Career Opportunities in Company Secretaryship'. Mr. Naresh delivered an insightful session covering the role of Company Secretaries in corporate governance, compliance management, SEBI regulations, IPOs, mergers, demergers, ESOP administration, listing requirements and emerging career opportunities. Students actively participated in the interaction and clarified their queries regarding the CS course, training requirements and employment prospects.

.Importance of the event The Placement & Development Programme on "Career Opportunities in Company Secretaryship" served as an important platform for students to gain practical insights into one of the most respected professional careers in the corporate sector. The session helped students understand the vital role of Company Secretaries in ensuring corporate governance, legal compliance, ethical business practices, and regulatory management.
