The Department of Commerce, School of Humanities, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Business Studies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, is organizing a 7-Day International Online Hands-on Research Workshop titled “From Research Idea to Scopus Publication: AI-Driven Strategies for Publishing in High-Impact Journals” from 31 August 2026 to 06 September 2026, between 6.00 PM and 7.30 PM (IST) in Online Mode.

The workshop aims to provide research scholars, faculty members, postgraduate students, and aspiring researchers with practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to the complete research and publication process. The sessions will focus on identifying research gaps using AI, literature review, research methodology, data analysis using SPSS, SmartPLS and AMOS, academic writing, journal selection, responding to reviewers, manuscript refinement, and AI-enabled publication strategies.

Distinguished academicians and experts from national and international institutions will serve as resource persons, offering valuable insights into publishing quality research in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals.

Through this initiative, the Department of Commerce aims to strengthen research culture, promote innovation and responsible AI usage, and enhance the scholarly and publication competencies of participants.

• Day 4 – 03 September 2026: Hands-on Data Analysis Using SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, and Other Tools by Samuel Mores Gedam, Alliance University, Bengaluru.
• Day 5 – 04 September 2026: Writing Each Section of a High-Quality Journal Article by Dr. Sharpreet Kaur, Christ University, Delhi.
• Day 6 – 05 September 2026: Selecting Scopus/Web of Science Journals and Responding to Reviewers by Dr. Satyanarayana Parayitam, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
• Day 7 – 06 September 2026: Manuscript Refinement, AI Tools for Academic Publishing, and Submission Strategies by Junaidah Yusof, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
