Summary of the event

The Department of Cyber Security, School of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Business Studies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, organised the 2nd National Level Technical Symposium – “CYNEX’26” on 26 September 2026 at the TRP Auditorium.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the Invocation and Lighting of the Kuthuvilaku, followed by the Welcome Address by Dr. J. Jebamalar Tamilselvi, Head of the Department of Cyber Security. The Deputy Dean – Academics, F-LABS delivered the felicitation address, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. Ganesh V. Radhakrishnan, Dean (F-LABS). The student coordinator and Cynex 2026 president Mr. Sasi kumar introduced the symposium. The Chief Guest, Mr. B. Balamurugan, Vice President – Learning and Development, Accenture, Chennai, delivered the inaugural address, and the ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. M. Poomani, Convenor of CYNEX’26.

The Valedictory Ceremony was held at 3:30 PM at the TRP Auditorium. It began with the Welcome Address by Dr. G. Savitha, followed by a brief report of CYNEX 2026 by student coordinator Ms. Harini. Dr. Ganesh V. Radhakrishnan, Dean (F-LABS), delivered the Valedictory Address, and the prizes were distributed by Dr. V. Saravanan, Professor and Deputy Dean Academics, to the winning participants. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. T. Kanimozhi, followed by the National Anthem.
