The Faculty of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized an academic session titled “IPR Basics for Innovators & Entrepreneurs” on 28 January 2026 at Gallery Hall–III. The event was conducted by the Innovation and Startup Cell with the objective of creating awareness about Intellectual Property Rights among students and faculty members. The program focused on introducing the fundamentals of startups, the importance of protecting intellectual ideas, and the role of IPR in innovation and research. Experts from the startup ecosystem shared practical insights on idea protection, commercialization, and the relevance of intellectual property in academic and entrepreneurial contexts. The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, leading to meaningful discussions on innovation, startup development, and intellectual property management. The program was conducted successfully as scheduled and received positive feedback from participants. Through this initiative, the Faculty of Management strengthened awareness of innovation practices and encouraged students to transform their ideas into protected and sustainable outcomes.
