Orientation Programme – "CIMA Gateway 2026: Your Path to Global Opportunities." Day 2
SYNOPSIS OF THE EVENT
The Department of Commerce (PA, ISM, IAF & SF), Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized the second day of the two-day Orientation Programme – "CIMA Gateway 2026: Your Path to Global Opportunities." The programme featured industry experts from ISDC, corporate professionals, and distinguished alumni who shared valuable insights on career opportunities, professional competencies, industry expectations, and workplace readiness. The sessions emphasized global certifications, corporate employability, higher education pathways, and the importance of continuous professional development.

Importance of the Event
The second day of the Orientation Programme provided students with valuable exposure to industry practices, corporate expectations, and emerging career opportunities across diverse sectors. The sessions highlighted the significance of professional certifications, employability skills, and lifelong learning in building successful careers in today's competitive global environment.The interaction with industry professionals and accomplished alumni enabled students to understand the transition from campus to corporate life, the competencies expected by employers, and the importance of developing technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
