SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:

Grooming and Self-Care Workshop – "Glow the Beauty in You"

The Department of Fashion Designing, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, successfully organized a Grooming and Self-Care Workshop titled "Glow the Beauty in You" on 22nd June 2026 from 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the TRP Auditorium. The programme was conducted exclusively for the women faculty members of the Faculty of Science and Humanities with the objective of promoting personal grooming, self-care, confidence building, and wellness awareness.

The workshop featured eminent resource persons from Naturals Beauty Academy, Chennai. Ms. Saraswathy, Technical Head – Pan India, and Ms. Ruxana, Makeup Trainer, shared their expertise and practical insights on contemporary grooming practices, skincare essentials, professional makeup techniques, and personal wellness. The session was designed to empower participants with knowledge and skills that contribute to both personal and professional development.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of the resource persons. During the session, the experts highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy skincare routine, understanding individual skin types, selecting suitable beauty products, and adopting effective self-care practices. Demonstrations on professional makeup techniques and grooming tips were conducted, enabling participants to gain hands-on knowledge and practical exposure.

The workshop also focused on confidence building and personal presentation. The resource persons emphasized how grooming and self-care positively influence self-esteem, workplace presence, and overall well-being. Participants actively engaged in the interactive discussions, sought expert advice on beauty and wellness concerns, and gained valuable insights into maintaining a balanced self-care routine.
