Event Highlights

• The Department of English & Other Foreign Languages organized a two-day Bridge Course for II B.A. English students on 23rd and 24th June 2025.
• The sessions were conducted in S Block B4 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, covering core subjects relevant to the fifth semester.
• The course included lectures on American Literature, Introduction to Gender Studies, and Professional English.
• Kavitha K delivered insightful sessions on major themes and movements in American Literature.
• K C Mythili introduced students to fundamental concepts in Gender Studies with contemporary perspectives.
• T. Sridevi conducted interactive sessions on Professional English to enhance communication skills.
• The sessions aimed to bridge academic gaps and provide a smooth transition into the new semester.
• Students actively engaged in discussions and responded enthusiastically to interactive activities.
• The program emphasized interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking.
• The Bridge Course also aligned with Sustainable Development Goals such as Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Reduced Inequalities.
