The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRMIST, Ramapuram, organised a One Day Workshop on “Effective Learning AI in Research” on 27.06.2026 at 2.00 PM in the East Block.
The programme was conducted for faculty members and research scholars to enhance their understanding of Artificial Intelligence in academic research.
The session was handled by Dr. J. Srinivasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, SRMIST, Ramapuram.
The workshop began with a welcome address and an introduction to the growing importance of AI in the research environment.
The resource person explained how AI can support literature review, academic writing, citation management, and data analysis.
He also discussed the role of AI in identifying research gaps, refining content, and improving publication-related work.
