Students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication visited the archival photo

exhibition organized by The Hindu under its Made of Chennai initiative on 26 August 2025. The

exhibition offered II and III BA JMC students a unique opportunity to explore Chennai’s rich

history through compelling visual narratives and archival photographs. The visit highlighted the

significance of visual journalism in documenting events, preserving cultural heritage, and

shaping collective memory
