SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
1. The event was organized by the Department of Computer Applications (BCA & BCA GenAI), SRM IST – Ramapuram in association with the Skill Elevation Club.
2. The primary objective was to improve placement readiness and professional visibility of students.
3. The session followed a Peer-to-Peer Learning model, where Final Year BCA students guided Second Year students.
4. Surya K introduced Overleaf and explained methods to build clean, structured portfolios and resumes.
5. Emphasis was given to properly showcasing projects, certifications, and technical skills.
6. Abhinav M demonstrated blog and personal webpage creation for developing an online professional identity.
7. He also explained the effective use of Haveloc for placements and current company expectations.
8. An in-built Haveloc feature for non-coders was highlighted to ensure inclusivity for all students.
9. Students gained hands-on exposure to digital portfolio tools and career preparation techniques.
10. The session was interactive, inclusive, and highly beneficial, empowering students to confidently prepare for future placement opportunities.
