SUMMARY OF THE EVENT

The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Business Studies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, successfully organized EVOLVE 2026, a series of non-technical events, on 4th August 2026 at Gallery Hall – I.

The programme was inaugurated by the respected Head of the Department, who welcomed the participants and encouraged them to utilize the event as an opportunity to explore their talents, strengthen their communication skills, and develop confidence through healthy competition.

The event featured four exciting competitions:

•         Business IQ Challenge
•         Logic Links
•         Duo Ad Mad Show
•         Mime & Guess

Students enthusiastically participated in all the competitions, demonstrating exceptional creativity, logical reasoning, business knowledge, teamwork, stage presence, and communication skills. The competitions created a lively and interactive atmosphere, fostering collaboration and learning among participants.

The competitions were evaluated by the faculty members of the Department of Commerce, who served as judges. Their fair evaluation and constructive feedback motivated students to perform their best and appreciate the importance of continuous improvement.

The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners, followed by a vote of thanks acknowledging the support of the Head of the Department, faculty members, student coordinators, volunteers, and participants for making the event a grand success.

The event contributed towards achieving SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting experiential learning, innovation, teamwork, and leadership among students.
