The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, SRM IST Ramapuram, organized an

educational industrial visit to the Madras High Court on 18 July 2025. The visit provided

students with firsthand exposure to courtroom proceedings, judicial protocols, and legal

reporting practices. Aligning with SDGs 4 and 16, the experience enhanced students’

understanding of media law, ethical court reporting.
