SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:

The Department of Fashion Designing, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, successfully organized an International Seminar on the theme “From Micro-Trends to Vibes: A Student’s Journey to Prepare for the Fashion Industry” on 13th August 2025.

The resource person, Mr. Surya Bharath, Inventory & Order Management Coordinator at Skechers, Dubai, delivered an insightful session highlighting the importance of industry preparedness for budding fashion professionals. He emphasized the role of micro-trends in shaping consumer preferences and how students can align their skills with evolving market needs.

The session covered:
